Grand Haven Mens Golf Assoc.

Born 11/27/66 in Washington D.C. moving from Bowie MD in 1972 to Southampton PA.  Here I graduated from William Tennent Sr. High.  Following my passion for food service I graduated from the Bucks County Community College Chef’s Apprenticeship program.  Moving into the retail part of food service I spent 17 years over two stints at Wawa as a GM.  In between those two stints I owned a company running 3 lunch trucks and was also Mr. Mom for 2 yrs.

Just before graduating from college I met my very loving and understanding wife Michelle.  Within 2 yrs we were married and starting a family in Lansdale PA.  7 yrs later we moved to Perkasie PA where we lived for 25 yrs and raised two boys.  We are both very proud of T.J.(27) and Nick(23) for graduating from R.I.T.!

With both offspring off the payroll and settled in Chambersburg PA and Wilmington MA we decided to purchase an RV.  I “retired” from Wawa as a GM and Michelle took a package from Prudential Insurance after 30 yrs.  We sold the house in PA and lived in the RV for just over a year, driving all over FL looking for a home with the perfect lifestyle. Grand Haven was the winner!

Introduced to golf in my 20’s, I took it seriously in my 40's with new clubs, lessons and a country club membership.  I was hooked on the private course experience and knew it had to be part of my retirement.  My goal this year is to shoot consistently in the 80’s and to get closer to a 10 handicap.  Michelle and I hope to explore all that Palm Coast, Grand Haven and GHGC have to offer.  We will both see you on the course, at the range or in the Club!
