Ken Moffa
October 2023 Spotlight Golfer

Born in the Bronx, Ken attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and Mt. St. Michael High School followed with attending Fordham University Pharmacy School and graduating in 1961. He married his lovely wife Brenda in 1962 and enlisted in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge in 1968. He was employed as a pharmacist in Tuckahoe, NY, the Bronx, partnering at Pen Mill Pharmacy and purchasing Doctor’s Pharmacy in Port Washington, NY. He purchased a home in Southampton, NY in 1986, working as a pharmacist in Southampton, East Hampton, Shelter Island and Montauk, NY. In 1997 he purchased White’s Pharmacy and sold it in 2004. For twelve years he was a Florida “Snowbird” settling in Palm Coast fulltime in 2017.

 

            Throughout his career he served in several professional roles supporting Pharmaceutical Organizations. He also worked as a campaign coordinator for various political figures including Rick Lazio and other high ranking New York politicians. He was active in his church and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He has earned many awards including the National Independent Pharmacist of the Year, The Bowl of Hygeia for Community Service, Pharmacist of the Year from the Italian Pharmaceutical Society, Man of the Year from the Long Island Pharmaceutical Society, and a prestigious leadership recognition from the National Association of Retail Druggists.

 

            He plays tennis, golf, and enjoys the camaraderie of the Grand Haven community and the MGA. On top of all this his sister married Lee Figliuolo and life is beautiful.
